How to Schedule an Appointment
Your First Appointment
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our South Cliff Dental Group practices.
On your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes earlier than your appointment time to complete some paperwork; this includes a medical history questionnaire.
When you come into the surgery, we take the time to understand what your needs are and then undertake a thorough examination.
It’s important that you understand that we always offer you both private and NHS treatment options, and then it is up to you to decide which option you would like.
What We Expect From You
- Contact us by phone if you are unable to keep your appointment. This way, we can give the appointment slot to someone else.
- Let us know your worries and concerns when you see our dentists. Our job is to make you feel heard, at ease and confident that we can resolve your oral health issues. We want you to be an active participant in your care so you can make informed choices regarding the treatments that suit you best.
- Follow the advice and instructions we give you concerning your oral health. We advise you on brushing techniques and the types of interdental cleaning aids to use to keep you smiling, but for these to be effective, you have to use them!
- Let us know of any changes in your medical history and exemption status (if applicable) at each appointment. Certain conditions, medications and other details help inform which dental treatments we recommend and how we perform these procedures.
Help Make South Cliff Dental Group Even Better
Tell us where we can improve. Your feedback enables us to help you and other patients even more. Please tell us how we can elevate our services and improve the patient experience.
There are several ways to offer feedback: We have regular Patient Participation Groups, Patient Satisfaction Surveys (which you can fill out at reception), you can email us with your feedback or you can simply chat with our staff, and they will make a note of it.
